My name is Sam Gardner. I work in business and product operations at Stainless.

Before that I started my own startup, I was in sales at Salesforce, and risk strategy and operations at Ramp. I love working at startups because of how much autonomy they offer to build new stuff quickly.

Outside of work, I live in NYC and love the energy of being around people who care excessively about what they do.

I'm a pretty good chess player, an excellent skier, and a mediocre rock climber. I run five times a week but still kind of suck at it. I'm optimistic, highly competitive, and I read way too many newsletters and probably not enough books.

I'm a big believer that we're in the golden era of music, writing, TV and movies. This site is a collection of things I care about: music, writing, TV and movies, and whatever else I find interesting.
